The workshop ‘From Text to Political Positions´ (T2PP) is intended to provide a meeting place for individual researchers and research groups focussing on the development of methods and techniques for the analysis of political texts. After the successful first Junior Research Meeting for Applied Linguistics in Groningen in 2007, GAL (Gesellschaft für Angewandte Linguistik, Germany), Anéla (Association Néerlandaise de Linguistique Appliquée), and Vals-Asla (Swiss Association for Applied Linguistics) are pleased to invite budding researchers, graduate students, and PhD students to the “Junior Research Meeting for Applied Linguistics”. At this meeting the opportunity will be given to participants to present their work to colleagues, both junior and senior, in an informal and supportive setting. It will also offer the possibility to come in contact with other researchers in your field.
